A confluence, a lichening, a celebration of love, land and community.

Hi friends and fam!

We are so excited to celebrate with you this coming May! Our wedding weekend will take place at O’leno State Park (about 45 minutes north of Gainesville). The venue and on-site lodging is right on the gorgeous blackwater of the Santa Fe River, one of our favorite rivers which is fed by dozens of cold springs around the area.

In addition to our love for each other, we are also celebrating our love for this land and watershed we call home. We adore this magical swampland of crystal clear cold springs, blackwater rivers, and sprawling cypress knees. And we’re so excited to share it with you.

There will be lots of opportunities to swim, hike, canoe, explore nearby cold springs, and sit around the campfire. We have the park reserved Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. You are invited to join us for the whole weekend if you’d like to. The wedding ritual and dinner will take place on Friday, May 17th at 5pm.

Because our connection to each other is fed so much by this beautiful watershed, we will be extending our vows to these wetlands. And because you, our community, help nurture and sustain our connection, we want you to be included in our vows as well.

  • We are asking you, if you so choose, to bring water from somewhere that is a source of life for you. Just a small amount is great. We will be collecting this water into one communal bowl during the ceremony.

  • We also ask you to bring some sort of short blessing, poem or quote that you want to share with us, to be written down (and possibly read out loud if you choose) for us to keep.

If you haven’t listened to our love story yet, you can do so here.

Please check out the Schedule and FAQ pages for more details about the weekend. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! <3
